Transcription and dubbed audio draw on the same quota: transcribing one hour of episode costs one hour, dubbing it costs five. The maximums above therefore assume the quota went to nothing else. Dubbing is never billed as overage.

Can I switch plans at any time? +
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my Free or Premium limit? +
On Free and Premium plans, you receive a notification when you approach your monthly quota. You can upgrade mid-month to unlock more capacity. There is no automatic overage billing on these plans.
Are translation and dubbing included in my plan? +
Translating transcripts into 12 languages is included from the Premium plan onwards, with no counter of its own. Dubbed audio is included too, but it is paid for out of your quota: five minutes of quota per minute of episode. One dubbed hour therefore costs five hours — all of Premium's monthly quota, or a quarter of Pro's, and that much less transcription. The details are on the Translate page.
How does Pro usage billing work? +
The Pro plan includes 20h of transcription and 25M AI characters per month. Beyond that, you are billed €2/h for transcription and €2/million characters. Your real-time dashboard shows exactly your consumption and end-of-month projection.
How do community library credits work? +
When a user transcribes an episode, that transcription is shared with the entire community. If someone else looks up the same episode, they access it directly without consuming their own credits. The more the community grows, the more transcriptions you access for free.
Is my data secure? Where is it hosted? +
Your data is hosted in Europe (EU), in compliance with GDPR. Audioask is developed and operated from Switzerland, with strict privacy standards. Your data is never used to train third-party AI models.
Are there discounts for students, NGOs, or associations? +
